Cancer diet book

there is a book about cancer diets, is it effective? has anybody read it and can give me a honest review? my Saint Bernard was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and trying to do the best for him.

My friend has a dog with cancer and has the book "Help Your Dog Fight Cancer: An Overview Of Home Care Options". She said it was helpful, but of course, you can't rely on a book for a serious issue as such. She also has been purchasing alternate supplements such as K9 Immunity.
